We finally enjoy the first spring warm days. I've pulled out of mu daughter's closet some clothes I had sewn last summer but didn't have time to post about, like this hacked Spin Dress by MadeIt Patterns with some beautiful knit by Nosh.

The Spin Dress is a great basic pattern I've used many, many times (check here and here). I like to keep the bodice as it is (it fits great) and just add some small details (patch pockets, frills, gathered skirt...). This time I've skipped the circle skirt (I didn't have enough fabric) and added ruffles to the sleeves.

This fabric is some beautiful dotted knit by Nosh, unfortunately out of stock.

This dress takes less than 2 hours to make, from cutting to hemming. I usually love to sew knit dresses between two more difficult or time-consuming projects, because it's quick and relaxing.
My daughter will need more dresses like this. And I’ll need more relaxing projects!
